12,000 lb Capacity Forklift Rentals

A 12,000 lb forklift rental is a six-ton industrial lift truck rated for 12,000 pounds at a 24-inch load center, hired for heavy steel, large lumber, concrete, and machinery handling. Accurate Forklift rents inspected units across Georgia and the Southeast.

A 12,000 lb rental fits heavy construction and industrial projects, or temporary fleet support during peak demand — six tons of capacity for exactly the project window. The 12,000 lb units available for rent are listed below, and availability changes as equipment goes out and comes back. If you need a specific fuel type, mast, or attachment that isn’t showing, call 770-692-1455 and ask for rentals.

What a 12,000 lb forklift rental is best for

Twelve thousand pounds — six tons — handles serious industrial rental loads: heavy steel and metal products, large lumber bundles, precast concrete, and oversized machinery. Robust diesel or LP machines on pneumatic tires, built for sustained heavy outdoor and yard duty.

Capacity & rental guidance

At six tons, long loads push the load center past 24″ and lifting high reduces capacity further — together they can drop the safe figure well below 12,000 lb. Because these are often the heaviest, most valuable loads onsite, share the full profile so we spec the right rental. Every rental is inspected and delivery can be arranged across the Southeast.

What can a 12,000 lb forklift rental lift?

Up to 12,000 pounds — six tons — at a standard load center, including heavy steel, large lumber bundles, concrete products, and machinery, with reductions for tall or offset lifts.

Is a 12,000 lb forklift heavy-capacity?

Yes — at six tons it's firmly heavy-capacity, built for industrial and yard work rather than general warehousing.

What powers a 12,000 lb rental?

Diesel is most common for power and endurance under heavy continuous loads, with LP gas also available.

Can I rent a 12,000 lb forklift for a project?

Yes — heavy project and fleet-support rentals are common. Call 770-692-1455 for terms.
