Forklift battery rebuilds
Is your forklift battery dying halfway through the shift? It may not need to be replaced. We rebuild worn lead-acid batteries at our shop in East Point, GA, near Atlanta.

What is a battery rebuild?
Over time, lead-acid batteries build up hard sulfate crystals on their plates. This is called sulfation, and it is the most common reason a battery wears out early. The battery still charges, but it holds less power, so your forklift runs for less time.
A rebuild (also called regeneration) breaks down that build-up. In many sulfated batteries, this can bring back capacity that was lost. Every battery is different, so we test yours first and tell you honestly if a rebuild makes sense.
Good candidates
- Lead-acid forklift batteries (flooded, AGM or gel) that don't last a full shift anymore
- Batteries that charge but lose power fast under load
- Batteries that sat unused or were often left partly charged
- Pallet jack, scissor lift and floor scrubber batteries too
Not a fit for a rebuild
- Cracked or leaking cases
- Shorted or dead cells
- Lithium-ion batteries
Not sure? Send us the details below and we'll take a look. If your battery can't be saved, ask about our used batteries.
How it works
- 1
We test it
We check every battery first — the case, each cell and how much it can still hold. If a rebuild won't help, we tell you before any work is done.
- 2
We regenerate it
The battery goes on our FSIP Xtender M1007. It discharges, desulfates and recharges the battery automatically, using high-frequency pulses to break down sulfate build-up on the plates.
- 3
We test it again
When the cycle is done, we measure the battery's capacity again to see how much it gained.
- 4
You get a report
You get the before and after results for your battery, so you can see what changed and decide what's next.
Why rebuild instead of replace?
Costs less than new
A new forklift battery is a big expense. If yours can be brought back, a rebuild can cost much less than buying new.
Less waste
Keeping a good battery in service longer means fewer heavy batteries scrapped and replaced.
Back to work
A battery that holds its charge again means fewer battery swaps, fewer stops and less downtime for your trucks.
